Photo of children at the Visitor's Center Trainer Missy Dailey has been working with dogs her entire life. She began training as a teenager through group obedience classes with her family pets. Missy then adopted a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Mocha and began working independently with her to see where it would go. Sure enough, Mocha took well to the training, so Missy decided to enter her in AKC obedience competitions where she quickly won many awards. Almost immediately, Missy was hooked and started looking to a variety of other canine sports, including flyball, freestyle canine dancing and of course, flying disc, as a means to further her training skills. As a dog lover and advocate for responsible pet ownership, Missy travels across the country sharing her passion for dogs and entertaining audiences everywhere as part of the Purina Incredible Dog Team.

Missy's entourage includes five incredible dogs that perform musical freestyle dancing routines all around the country. Indy, an 11 year-old Border Collie, uses his finely honed herding instincts to excel at canine sports….and to herd the family cat! Remi, a 10-year-old Border Collie/Parson Russell Terrier mix, is intelligent and enthusiastic, which she gets from her Border Collie mother, but she's also small, fast and fierce, which comes from her Terrier father. Divot, a 7-year-old Border Collie, thrives on performing technical dance maneuvers for crowds; however, his main goal in life is to get a belly rub! Kix, a 7-year-old Parson Russell Terrier mix, divides his time between flying through the air during performances and enjoying his favorite pastime of swimming. The newest team member, Spice, is a 3-year-old mixed breed, who has quickly learned to play flyball and is becoming quite the flying disc dog. Through performances with her canine team, Missy wants to promote the enjoyment that comes from having a special bond with your canine companion and to inspire the audience to take up canine sports with their pets.

When Missy is not traveling across the country performing at pet shows and competitions, she is busy at her job as a veterinary technician, where her special interests include reproduction and behavior counseling. She also enjoys traveling abroad and visiting museums in foreign countries.
